The acquisition of knowledge and skills is of utmost importance for the European Union, as it enables to strengthen competitiveness, to cooperate with businesses and to find a balance between their needs and people's aspirations, so as to ensure that skills meet labor market needs. Also to attract to our continent people from third countries with skills and talents needed by the EU.

The "Sustainable Europe" vision is based on the principles of sustainable growth, taking into account the balance between the economic, social and environmental aspects of development. It is implemented through the implementation of strategies and measures, as well as through the active role of EU institutions, national governments and public organizations.

The term "Bauculture" brings together ideas for the preservation and development of quality, sustainable and culturally relevant properties and cities, through the use of sustainable solutions in the fields of architecture, arts, design and technology. Bauculture symbolizes the fusion between the aesthetic sense and the sense of responsibility for building the environment in which we want to live.

energy efficiency

Our actions matter! We can be energy efficient, save energy, reduce pollution and help fight climate change. Knowledge is power and commitment is the engine.

repowereu

In response to the hardships and global energy market disruption caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the European Commission is implementing its REPowerEU Plan. With the REPowerEU plan, we are succeeding in diversifying our energy supply mainly by: establishing agreements with other third countries for pipeline imports; investing in common purchase of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG); securing strategic partnerships with Namibia, Egypt and Kazakhstan to ensure a secure and sustainable supply of renewable hydrogen; signing agreements with Egypt and Israel for the export of natural gas to Europe

european green deal

Europe's Green Deal refers to a broad European Union (EU) plan to make the EU the first climate-zero continent by 2050. This ambitious strategic effort aims to change the way the European economy operates and make the economic growth, social justice and environmental protection mutually compatible.

The "New European Bauhaus" is an ecological, economic and cultural project of the European Commission. The main idea is, through a combination of design, sustainability, accessibility and investment, to fulfill the tasks of the European Green Deal to achieve the goal of zero carbon emissions as soon as possible and most effectively on our continent.

energy efficiency

It is the process of reducing the energy consumption of infrastructure, facilities, buildings, machines, devices, products, services, activities and transport. Energy efficiency can reduce costs, improve competitiveness, reduce environmental impact and improve quality of life.

fit for 55

The European Union sets ambitious goals for achieving a reduction in emissions harmful to the climate and human health, and at the same time for the growth of the European economy.

renovation wave

On October 14, 2020, the European Commission published its Remedial Wave Strategy.

The goal is for the next 10 years, until 2030, to double the percentage of renovated buildings on the territory of the EU for higher energy and resource efficiency.
